ORLANDO, Fla. — Jeffrey Lurie kept Nick Sirianni as the Eagles head coach for 2024 for two reasons above all: What Sirianni achieved, and what Sirianni articulated.
Start with what Sirianni articulated, because that’s what had been unknown. In those end-of-season meetings when Lurie determined to retain Sirianni despite a historic collapse in 2023, Lurie said Sirianni shared a vision for how to fix the unraveling that included a revamped coaching staff — and a more innovative, dynamic offense in particular.
