What I’ve noticed so far this season is teams that can go small and spread out the Sixers on offense with a big who is capable of hitting threes gives this team fits especially with Embiid in the line-up because he is not gonna go out and defend the three point line and it leaves the other guys scrambling and the opponents end up with wide open threes. Gotta find a way to fix this.

Way back when, the Sixers were never able to defeat the Celtics in the playoffs until Wilt was given some rebounding help when Luke Jackson became a starter so Wilt had more in the tank on offense and in the 4th quarter. Embid is not the same player as in the past; so it seems essential to develop Bona in the structure of the offense. Daryl and his team should also begin to look at the trade deadline to obtain a rugged power forward who can play defense, rebound, catch passes and either make easy shots or pass to others without turnovers. So far. Bona has not always been reliable in that regard. Rebounding help will make for a happier Joel and fandom.

McCains development is more for next year if Grimes is not affordable.
