Jett Luchanko pick requires trust, will be also judged by who wasn't taken

LAS VEGAS -- The first draft class engineered by Philadelphia Flyers general manager Daniel Briere was, in short, just about universally beloved by the team's fans.

Briere took the potential superstar in Matvei Michkov who fell too far. He addressed organizational needs. He made ten total picks and added an exciting influx of talent to the prospect pool. It was a two-day performance that bought Briere a lot of cache with long-frustrated Flyers fans.
