The first half of the Sixers' eventual 121-107 loss to the Indiana Pacers seemed to be going just about as bad as possible.
The Sixers were fumbling all over themselves, with 12 first-half turnovers leading to the Pacers in early, and mismatched, offense most of the half. The Sixers, after sprinting out to a 9-2 start to the game, were now trailing by double digits as the final few seconds of the second quarter were winding down. The Pacers came into the night a dismal 3-11 on the road. The Sixers would need to regroup at the break if they were to avoid letting a golden opportunity to make up ground in the standings slip away.
