Kenny Pickett 'ready to go' this week, could live childhood dream of Eagles fans against rival Cowboys

Kenny Pickett grew up an Eagles fan in Ocean Township, N.J., and it appears that he’ll get to live a dream scenario of kids who wore a midnight green jersey in the schoolyard: start at quarterback against the Dallas Cowboys with a chance to clinch the NFC East.
Pickett is in line to fill in for Jalen Hurts, who remains in the concussion protocol. Pickett’s status appeared in question earlier this week while he underwent examination for a ribs injury, but he was a full participant in practice on Thursday and said he’s ready to play against the Cowboys on Sunday. Pickett, who typically wears a flak jacket, wore extra padding in the first practice of the week.
