Keve Aluma's pro basketball journey began with a very simple choice — fight against a numbers game back home, or try to make a name for yourself elsewhere.
After a productive final two seasons at Virginia Tech, Aluma got an Exhibit 10 offer from the Grizzlies in 2022, a bit of guaranteed cash for a training camp spot on an ascending team. But Aluma saw the writing on the wall while in the Nevada desert that summer.
