Don’t worry Philadelphia Union fans, the 2024 MLS season is only 66 days away!
Major League Soccer announced its full 2024 regular season schedule on Wednesday, with the Union opening their campaign on February 24 at Subaru Park. Jim Curtin’s squad will face the Chicago Fire in their home opener, one of 17 home matches in the campaign for the Union.
Notable matches at Subaru Park include an MLS Rivalry Week matchup against New York City FC on May 15, a showdown with reigning Leagues Cup champions Inter Miami on June 15, and a traditional clash with Eastern Conference rivals New York Red Bulls on July 6.
Reigning MLS Cup champions Columbus Crew will visit Chester on August 24 while the Union’s Decision Day match comes on October 19 against Supporters’ Shield winners FC Cincinnati.
The Union will also visit three Western Conference clubs in March 2024; Sporting KC on 3/2, Austin FC on 3/16, and the Portland Timbers on 3/23.
A total of three Union matches are set to broadcast nationally: vs. Atlanta United on FOX (April 14), at FC Cincinnati on Fox Sports 1 (June 19), and vs. D.C. United on Fox Sports 1 (September 22).
The 2024 Leagues Cup will run from July 26 to August 25, where both MLS and Liga MX will pause regular season play to participate in the tournament. The Union reached the semifinals of the competition in 2023, which guaranteed them a place in the newly-revamped CONCACAF Champions Cup.
In addition, the 2024 MLS All-Star Game will take place on July 24 at Lower.com Field in hosted in Columbus.
