NEW ORLEANS — Saquon Barkley accepted his offensive player of the year award Thursday night and shared what he calls one of his favorite quotes. It was one he had not heard until he joined the Eagles.
You can't be great without the greatness of others.
The phrase has been attributed to Nick Sirianni. The Eagles coach used it during at least 13 different press conferences this season before Super Bowl week, referring to it so often that it has become his most repeated phrase. He’s worn it out this week, too. 
But Sirianni never used it publicly before September 23 — it first showed up as “greatness of other people,” and then it was shortened to “greatness of others” two days later. ...
