Scouting Nikita Grebenkin, the Flyers’ newest wing prospect and a potential fan-favorite

The Philadelphia Flyers fanbase went into the 2025 NHL trade deadline with baited breath and an air of anxiety, and came out of it with a sense of relief, an extra first and third round pick in the pipeline, and a legitimate prospect in 21-year old Nikita Grebenkin.
But it is easy to understand why such pessimism was abound in the hours leading up to 3 PM EST on Friday. Over the last decade, the trade deadline has not been kind to the Broad Street club.
