As someone who typically gets far too upset about 1 of 162 during the summer months, Thursday’s 10-6 Phillies loss in Queens did not even register on the normal overreaction scale.
Part of that unusually Zen mindset was due to the Phillies’ bats waking up for the first time in a few days. In a game that felt hopeless, the lineup fought back. They battled.
