It’s a nice number, Kyle Schwarber admitted. And, sure, it’ll always have a place in his heart.
But he’d rather have something on his finger.
“I think it’s cool,” the 31-year-old Phillies slugger said after swatting two home runs Wednesday night, including the 250th of his career. “All the accomplishments and whatever you reach in this game, I think they mean a little more when you’re done and you’re on the couch watching baseball. But in the moment, you’re playing and fighting and trying to win and trying to get to where we want to be – that’s the only thing that matters right now.
