Good stuff, appreciate the numbers and the content, lfg!!.. But true to form, life long Phil’s fan. don’t see the logic in not moving stott to short everyday during turners absence and just platooning second..

@John topic idea for you. Would be interested to hear your insight into the science behind throwing programs for pitchers. Is there an ideal innings count out there? What are the health markers teams are tracking? What‘s the prevailing wisdom in terms of rest vs performance? How does that regimen looks like different for starters vs relievers? For starters- How would a guy’s preparation look different if he’s on 4 days or 6 days rest? And how does that impact them over a season leading up to the playoffs? For relievers- how many days in a row is ideal vs too many? How does a short reliever vs long reliever’s throwing program differ? Would be curious to weigh some options how to manage this Sanchez & Turnbull bounty we got on our hands.
