Trout, pick up his salary, and send no decent prospects. Maybe get them to take Garcia as part of deal and move Marsh to RF, put Trout in LF, batting fourth.

I literally LOL’d at “a 5-3 machine”, nice job.

I go Paredes and get Bohm out. I am tired of seeing him bat behind Harper. A 5-3 machine? So is Bohm, JT, Garcia and Turner so it really doesn’t matter does it?

All of your candidates with the exception of Paredes are as old or older than the current decaying core. Gutting the minor league system and overpaying for one of them would be unwise in my opinion. The Phillies have some ridiculous and untradeable contracts (Turner, Realmuto, Nola) that they are stuck with for the foreseeable future. They really need Aidan Miller and other prospects to step up rather quickly.

The whole league has a right handed hitting problem, so the price will be driven up by that factor

Suggesting Trout, another washed up overpaid used to be superstar for a team full of them is embarrassing and you really need to put more effort before wring your once a week article.
