As valuable as JT still is behind the plate, his offense is in severe decline and will not improve with age. He should take what the Phillies are offering, because it’s not going to be better elsewhere.

Marsh/Kemp platooning in LF? Anyone else have agita about that? A rookie, as talented as he is maning the most important position in the outfield? Oh yeah the Phillies are set. Please give me a break. Kemp can’t spell defense and Marsh despite his rep as a competent defender is an adventure out there. Does not track balls well, loves to dive for balls he shouldn’t and is just a mediocre offensive player.

They are no better than they were last year.
