To be truly honest I have seen enough of this lineup. I agree about the ups and downs during 162 game schedule but this team seems to have a lot more of these moments than others. If it was this year only I would say give them a chance to work through it but it isn’t. This goes back to the DBacks series in ’23 and the Mets series last season and my fear is the valley of inconsistency will strike again in October ’25. Regardless of what happens this lineup needs to change for the 2026 season. The longer the Dombrowski Window is open I fear he will empty the farm system in his pursuit of cementing HIS legacy of wanting to make it to the Hall as a team builder.
