Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George announced on his podcast this week that he was putting the show on hold to focus on getting his body back in shape and helping the Sixers contend for a championship. What do you mean “a championship”? The Sixers, after last night’s loss to the New York Knicks, are 18 games under .500 and are 2.5 games back of the Chicago Bulls for the final spot in the Eastern Conference Play-in Tournament. It was the Sixers ninth straight loss and 11 in 12 games.
