The Philadelphia Flyers have a captain for the first time since March 19, 2022– the day they traded Claude Giroux to the Florida Panthers.
Sean Couturier has been named the 20th captain in team history, and the Flyers celebrated by giving up a natural hat trick to Auston Matthews in the 2nd period on Thursday night, but fought back in the 3rd period, tying the game at 3. However, the new leadership group could not finish off the comeback.
Charlie, Bill & JP break down the action, including possible injury to Cam York, the pursuit of elite talent to be able to match the likes of Toronto, and much more.
