PHLY Flyers Podcast: It’s time to treat John Tortorella and the Philadelphia Flyers like a playoff team

Danny Briere has said that the Flyers are still in the rebuilding phase. That’s how the front office is going to proceed. But with 28 games down in the 2023-24 regular season, the Flyers have performed, to this point, like a team deserving of a spot in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

And since we know the front office will never orchestrate a “tank,” even if they’re keeping an eye on the future, the fans (and whatever we are) have begun to look at this more than a meaningless season in terms of wins and losses.

Charlie, Bill & Kelly debate how we should evaluate the Flyers on a game-to-game basis, and if suddenly a new standard should be applied to the coaching staff’s decision making.
