Behind monster performances from their Big 3 of Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe, the Philadelphia 76ers downed the shorthanded Indiana Pacers 135-114 to pick up their second straight win, finishing their brief three game road trip with a 2-1 record and improving to 32-26 on the season.
The Sixers were led by Tyrese Maxey, who finished with 32 points, nine rebounds and eight assists. Joel Embiid, making his first appearance since February 7th, added 27 points, six rebounds and five assists, while VJ Edgecombe added an efficient 23 points on just 13 field goal attempts.
The Pacers, playing without Pascal Siakam and Aaron Nesmith, came out scorching to start, dropping 38 points in the first quarter before coming back down to Earth. Andrew Nembhard and Micah Porter finished with 23 each to lead the Pacers.
