Philadelphia 76ers rookie Jared McCain dropped a new career-high 34 points, but it wasn’t enough to hand the Cleveland Cavaliers their first loss of the season as they improved to an NBA-best 13-0, defeating the Sixers 114-106. The shorthanded 76ers fought until the end with contributions from starters Kelly Oubre (20), and Caleb Martin (18), plus help off the bench from Reggie Jackson (13). The Cavaliers were led by their All-Star backcourt of Darius Garland (25) and Donovan Mitchell (23). McCain added nine assists, falling one short of a double-double.
The PHLY Sixers show breaks down Philadelphia’s valiant effort as they fall to 2-9 on the season.
