The Philadelphia 76ers (14-19) ended their brief two-game losing streak with a decisive 123-94 victory over the injury-depleted Brooklyn Nets (13-22). The Sixers overcame an 11-0 start by the Nets thanks to a dominant 15-point first quarter from Joel Embiid, building up a double-digit lead by the end of the first on their way to an easy win in Brooklyn.
Joel Embiid led the way with 28 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Paul George added 17 points and 6 assists, and Tyrese Maxey finished with 18. The Sixers received a big lift from Caleb Martin, who scored 17 first-half points, on a perfect 7-7 shooting, to help the Sixers take control of the game.
