Down three starters on the second night of a back-to-back, the Sixers drop their second consecutive game at home falling to the Utah Jazz, 120-109. Kelly Oubre did his best to pick up some of the slack, registering 24 points — but it wasn’t enough to collect the home win. Tyrese Maxey struggled from the floor on the evening, but still finished with 25 to pace Philadelphia. With no Joel Embiid for the game, Utah took advantage on the offensive end of the floor with the game plan of attacking the paint and they did so with much success — parading in for 72 points in close. Philadelphia, now 23-12, will have a few days off before taking the floor next Wednesday in Atlanta against the Hawks.
