The Sixers were demolished by Cam Thomas and the Brooklyn Nets, as they try to remain competitive without the services of reigning MVP Joel Embiid. On a night where they played without Embiid, Tobias Harris, De’Anthony Melton and Nicolas Batum, the Sixers fell behind 38-22 after the first quarter and were never able to make it a game after that.
Derek Bodner and Rich Hofmann are in studio to break down the loss, discuss the report from earlier in the day that Joel Embiid has a displaced flap in the meniscus in his left knee, and debate where the Sixers go from here.
