The Philadelphia 76ers begin their preseason schedule with a comfortable 139-82 win over the visiting New Zealand Breakers. Tyrese Maxey showed up ready to play, scoring 15 points and playing all of his minutes in the opening quarter to set the tone for the home team. Rookie Jared McCain was impressive in his preseason NBA debut, matching Maxey, veteran guard Reggie Jackson, and big man Guerschon Yabusele for a team-best point total of 15.
