Tyrese Maxey, Guerschon Yabusele, Jared McCain and the Philadelphia 76ers fought hard but it wasn’t enough as Jalen Green and the Houston Rockets escaped with a 122-115 overtime win. Philadelphia had many chances to try and steal this one, but after several Houston efforts for 50/50 balls, offensive rebounds, and Sixers turnovers — there was simply too much to overcome for the home win. Green scored a game-high 41 points, leading the Rockets to their 14th win of the season and handing the 76ers loss number 14 of the campaign. Maxey was amazing, matching Green’s scoring effort with 39 (28 in the second half), Yabusele added 22 in a nice overall performance, and McCain chipped in 15. The Sixers have Thanksgiving off before hitting the road for a Saturday matchup against Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons.
