Despite huge second half performances from Tyrese Maxey and Paul George, which helped pull the Sixers back from 16 points down to force overtime, the Sixers fell to the New York Knicks 125-119 in overtime. The loss, Philadelphia’s 4th in a row, drops the Sixers to 15-24 on the season.
Tyrese Maxey had an incredible second half, scoring 27 points after intermission, including the game-tying bucket with two seconds left in regulation to force OT. Maxey finished the night with 33 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the loss. Paul George added 26 points and 6 assists. For the Knicks, Jalen Brunson led all scorers with 38 points, and Josh Hart added 10 points, 16 rebounds and 12 assists for the triple double.
