The Philadelphia 76ers picked up their second straight win, this one a 108-104 win over the Charlotte Hornets thanks to four straight points by Tyrese Maxey in the final minute to secure the win. Maxey, who had been struggling for most of the night, finished with 17 points on 4-16 shooting from the field. Paul George tied his Sixers career high with 29 points, carrying the Sixers for most of the second half as the Sixers’ offense struggled around him. Jared McCain added 17 points on 7-10 shooting off the bench. The Sixers will return to Philadelphia for a game against the Orlando Magic (15-7) on Wednesday night, where they’ll look to extend their season-high win streak to three.
