DeSean Jackson roamed the Eagles sideline before a game against the Miami Dolphins last month. Even a decade past his prime with the Eagles, he still seemed like a star. He was in town with EA Sports as a Madden ratings adjuster, spending time with fans outside the Madden Cruiser in front of the stadium before heading onto the field for pregame warmups.
He posed for pictures with Howie Roseman and Michael Rubin. He spent time with A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Julio Jones. Jackson hasn’t caught a pass for the Eagles since 2020 and last starred for the team in 2013, yet his name and presence still carry weight in Philadelphia.
