Salisbury: After a winter of trade rumors, Phillies’ Alec Bohm is back where he always wanted to be

CLEARWATER, Fla. – On the surface, a winter’s worth of trade rumors doesn’t appear to have taken a toll on Alec Bohm. He’s in camp early, taking swings and ground balls. His locks are flowing nicely. He’s smiling. He had a nice time at the Super Bowl.
“It was pretty cool,” he said Thursday. “Can only hope we do the same thing.”
Over the last few months, there was legitimate reason to wonder if Bohm would be here right now, in Phillies spring training camp, getting ready for his sixth season as the club’s starting third baseman. He even admitted that he wondered about it a little.
