Salisbury: New Phillies pitcher Jesus Luzardo embraces trade, dismisses health issue, praises pal Andrew Painter

Jesus Luzardo, the newest member of the Phillies starting pitching staff, offered a positive report on his health during an introductory video news conference Monday. He also provided a succinct scouting report on Andrew Painter, the team’s mega-pitching prospect.
“He’s a stud,” Luzardo said.
Both pitchers hail from the greater Fort Lauderdale area.
