Moments after the Phillies may have saved their season with a dramatic, 7-6, win over the New York Mets in Game 2 of the National League Division Series on Sunday, he reflected on the pulsating, back-and-forth, prize-fighter nature of the game, which was ultimately decided by Nick Castellanos’ walk-off hit with two outs in the bottom of the ninth.
“Rocky would have been proud,” Harper said. “That never-die mentality. Just a great game. Both teams went punch for punch.”
