It has become Rob Thomson’s mantra as his team piles up wins at a delightfully feverish pace.
The Phillies got another one Thursday afternoon when they beat the defending World Series champion Texas Rangers, 5-2, to complete a rousing 7-1 homestand in front of another huge and happy crowd at Citizens Bank Park. (The smallest crowd during the eight games was 37,219; four of ‘em were sellouts.)
Philadelphia fans have a lot to be giddy about these days. The weather is warming and the home team has the best record in baseball, the best record in franchise history through 51 games. It’s hard to remember what a losing streak, even an itsy-bitsy one, looks like around here anymo...
