Saquon Barkley did not know the precise moment when he made history. Barkley broke LeSean McCoy’s single-season franchise rushing record on a nine-yard run in the fourth quarter of the Eagles’ 22-16 win over the Panthers. He rushed again on the next play and two more times on the drive. There was a chant among a fanbase that has adored Barkley during this record-breaking campaign, but there was little pomp otherwise.
