It's August now, and Scott Laughton is still here.
That wasn't a foregone conclusion entering the 2024 offseason. It hasn't been a foregone conclusion entering the past two years, frankly, especially after general manager Daniel Briere officially announced the Philadelphia Flyers' pivot to a rebuild plan.
