When a six-game homestand presented itself to the then-15-13 Phillies, one would certainly think that taking two of three from both the Washington Nationals and Arizona Diamondbacks would be somewhat gleefully accepted. Right? 
Well, maybe it was. There were, after all, plenty of reasons for optimism. The three main starters in Zach Wheeler, Christopher Sanchez and Jesús Luzardo remained their top-shelf best. Aaron Nola seems to have found himself, as his last two outings have added up to 13 innings, 7 hits, 2 walks, one earned run and 14 strikeouts.
