Despite the fact that eight of the fourteen players on the Sixers' NBA roster were not in Philadelphia when the season ended last May, when the Sixers took the court last night in south Philadelphia to kick off their highly anticipated 2024-25 campaign it felt almost exactly like the brand of basketball we watched in the second half of last season.
That, in this case, isn't a compliment.
