Yesterday marked the home opener for Major League Baseball. The Phillies faced MacKenzie Gore and the Washington Nationals in DC. Gore recorded an impressive 12 strikeouts, setting a new franchise record for the most strikeouts on opening day for the Nationals. Zack Wheeler pitched 6 innings, striking out 8 batters.
