The Sixers and Flyers BOTH get W’s last night, lifting the curse of Misery Week in Philadelphia sports for the night. The Sixers beat the Indiana Pacers 113-104, behind a 30 point night from Joel Embiid and 29 points from the ALL STAR STARTER, Tyrese Maxey. Meanwhile, the Flyers snap a 6-game losing streak by beating the Vegas Golden Knights 2-1 on the road. Travis Konecny scored both Flyers goals, and Sam Ersson turned in his best start of the season, stopping 24/25 Vegas shots. Plus, the Indiana Hoosiers are the National Champions of College Football. The Hoosiers beat the Miami Hurricanes 27-21, becoming the first team in FBS era to go 16-0, and the third to do it in D1 history. It’s Indiana’s first National Championship in school history.
