News broke over the weekend that Phillies pitcher Zack Wheeler has been diagnosed with a blood clot in his shoulder. It has been reported that Zack has been placed on the 10-day IL, but it’s unclear how long his recovery might take. Jhoan Duran, who was hit by a ball, also had a scary moment during Friday’s game. He has been cleared to return after being carted off the field. The Phillies split the series with the Nationals over the weekend and are set to face the Seattle Mariners today at 6:45pm. The Eagles made a trade yesterday, acquiring WR John Metchie III from the Houston Texans in exchange for Harrison Bryant and pick swaps in the 2026 draft.
