The Eagles won their 11th game and earned a postseason bid, but their passing game doesn’t deserve a pass

There was a reason Nick Sirianni felt compelled to tell his team to enjoy its 22-16 victory over Carolina and not become a “prisoner of your expectations.” Because Sirianni witnessed the same game as his players — and his fans — and nobody’s expectations of the Eagles include an offense that could barely top 100 passing yards. 
So yes, the Eagles won their 11th game of the season and their nine consecutive game, and they punched a ticket to the postseason by the end of the afternoon slate. That should be commended. Winning in the playoffs will require improvement from Sunday's display.
