The Falcons game was “trash” for Jalen Carter. The Saints game? “Just all right,” Carter said in the locker room on Thursday. 
This is a slight upgrade from agreeing that performance was also “trash,” although he didn’t deny still feeling that way.
“I’m never going to be best, I’m never going to be good,” Carter said.
This is informative for interviews with Carter, because it might make sense to stop asking him for evaluations about the way he plays. The boasting will come from elsewhere.
