THE BAHAMAS — Throughout the Sixers' first week of the season, well-known veterans have faded in and out of the picture. Kyle Lowry has been incognito. Joel Embiid has yet to appear in a scrimmage. Paul George has made no promises about his plans in the preseason. All along, Tyrese Maxey keeps popping up, keeps pushing the pace, and keeps making his voice heard around the gym.
