Where were we? Ah yes, bootstrap journalism.
Wulf: If you could have, like, a Freaky Friday, switch-bodies-with-one-player-on-the-team thing, who would it be?
James Bradberry: Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
Wulf: (Laughs)
Bradberry: If I could switch bodies with one player. And this would be like, for practice or it’s just to be them for a day?
Wulf: That’s up to you, I think. You can choose. If you want to be somebody on game day, feel what that’s like, that would count.
Bradberry: Uhhhhmmm. Who would I be? Who would I be? Man, that’s a great question.
Wulf: Should I make it a week instead of a day?
Bradberry: Nah, I’m trying to think about all that it would encompass to switch bodies. Of course, the first thing I think about is Jalen Hurts, but I don’t want that type of attention.
Wulf: Sure. But maybe just for game day it would be OK.
Bradberry: I don’t wanna be the quarterback.
Wulf: OK.
Bradberry: I don’t. Because then I gotta make all those reads and whatnot. I was thinking Jason Kelce because he’s so cool, but then I would have to play center and be in the trenches.
Wulf: Mmm.
Bradberry: I would probably say Nick Sirianni. I would be the head coach.
Wulf: Oo, I like that.
Bradberry: I wanna make some calls.
Wulf: On game day?
Bradberry: Game day, for sure.
Wulf: How long do you think it would take before people were like, ‘Wait a second, is this –?’
Bradberry: Um.
Wulf: Do you think you could pull him off?
Bradberry: Nah. ‘Cause I don’t really show a whole lot of emotion on the sideline.
Wulf: (Laughs) Right.
Bradberry: They would probably think he’s sick.
Wulf: They would think he’s in a bad mood.
Bradberry: Yeah, they’d probably think I’m in a bad mood. Just because I be so quiet.
Wulf: OK.
Bradberry: So, what do you call it, nonchalant.
Wulf: Yeah, but then you get to hear what the actual conversation is on the headset. That might be interesting.
Bradberry: For sure. And I get to make calls.
Wulf: Yeah.
Bradberry: I’m interested in doing that. So, Nick Sirianni.
Wulf: If you could, like, switch bodies with somebody else on the team, who would you choose?
Brandon Graham: Shiiiit. Jalen (Hurts). See what that two-hundred-and-fifty feel like. (Cackles)
Wulf: And what would you –
Graham: I’d wanna see what it feel like to be a quarterback, I’m not gonna lie.
Wulf: OK.
Graham: Yeah, that’d be cool.
Wulf: Would you do it for a game day or would you do it just, like, for practice?
Graham: Game day, for sure. See what it’s like. I ain’t even gotta move, I just wanna see what it’s like patrolling, just doing what he do.
Wulf: Yeah.
Graham: And then, having that feeling after the game like, ‘Damn, I just balled out.’ Even though I know it ain’t me. (Cackles)
Wulf: But it would be you!
Graham: I know. It would be me for the day.
Wulf: If you could, like, Freaky Friday switch bodies with someone else on the team for a day, who would you wanna do?
Jordan Mailata: Say me!
Patrick Johnson: Switch bodies with someone for a day?
Wulf: Mmhmm.
Johnson: Oh man. What have people been saying?
Wulf: Jalen, feeling what it would be like to be him. James said Sirianni, which I think is a good one.
Johnson: Man. I don’t know, I might have to say Howie (Roseman). That’s a lot of power.
Wulf: Ooooooo.
Johnson: Yeah.
Wulf: But in just one day of Howie, what could you accomplish?
Johnson: Oh man.
Wulf: You know what you could do? Sign Patrick Johnson to a huge long-term extension.
Johnson: You know what? That would be a good deal, man. I wouldn’t mind staying here for a long time, too. So I’m thinking maybe a little hundred mill.
Wulf: Yeah!
Johnson: You know, something like that.
Wulf: I think that’s the best –
Johnson: I wouldn’t complain about that.
Wulf: That’s the best answer so far.
Johnson: (Laughs) Yeah. That would be the one. That or I’d be somebody pretty fast. Shoot. If it was a player, I might be (D’Andre) Swift.
Nakobe Dean: Me?
Johnson: Nah, you’re not faster than me. I might play outside linebacker but you ain’t faster than me. I might say Swift. Would be fun to run the rock a little bit, bring back my old days of being a running back. That would be pretty fun.
Wulf: OK, you heard the question. If you could Freaky Friday switch bodies with someone for a day, who would it be?
Jordan Mailata: Is it past or current teammates?
Wulf: You could do past.
Mailata: Nick Foles (clears throat).
Landon Dickerson: (Laughs)
Mailata: (Laughs)
Wulf: Enough said.
Mailata: Enough said.
Wulf: Landon, anything different for you or there’s nothing that’s gonna top that one?
Dickerson: I don’t know if anything’s gonna top that one.
Wulf: If you could Freaky Friday switch bodies with somebody on the team for a day, who would you wanna be?
Boston Scott: (Cackles)
Wulf: (Stands silently)
Scott: (Cackles)
Wulf: (Stands silently)
Scott: What?! What!
Wulf: No?
Scott: I can’t. I can’t. I can’t, man. (Laughs)
Wulf: Britain, if you could be somebody else on the team for a day –
Britain Covey: I would have to go with Jordan Davis, because, man, could you imagine?
Wulf: The things you could reach!
Covey: The things you could reach. It would be unbelievable. I mean, my wife would have to go on her tippy-toes to kiss me. Which is such a, you know, weird thing for me to think about.
Wulf: (Cackles)
Covey: (Laughs)
Wulf: You didn’t have to go there, but that’s good. Thank you.
Wulf: If you could be somebody else on the team for a day, who would you choose?
Zach Cunningham: Somebody else on the team? I don’t think I’d pick anybody.
Wulf: No?
Cunningham: To be honest with you.
Wulf: Good for you! Very comfortable in your own self.
Cunningham: (Laughs) For sure.
Wulf: If you could, like, be somebody else on the team for a day, who would you wanna be?
Kelee Ringo: Kelee Ringo.
Wulf: Only one.
Ringo: Um, shoot. Actually, I don’t know. I couldn’t see myself saying I would wanna be somebody else.
Wulf: But just for a day, just to see what it’s like.
Ringo: Uh, shoot. Probably a quarterback. Any given one.
Wulf: If you could, like, be somebody else on the team for a day, who would you be?
Nolan Smith: Man, I would be Jalen Hurts. Who wouldn’t wanna be Jalen Hurts?
Wulf: And what would you do?
Smith: Man, I’d probably ride around in my Maybach, sit down at a bar, see who I could flirt with. Just be cool.
Wulf: If you could trade, like, if you could be somebody else on the team for a day, who would you be?
Fred Johnson: On the team? On the team? And have they bank account for a day?
Wulf: For a day.
Johnson: Ohhhh. Give me Jalen Hurts. I’m a Venmo myself about 15. And I go back at the end of the day, right?
Wulf: Yeah, why not.
Johnson: Yeah, I’d give myself about five, 10. You know what I’m saying?
Brett Toth: You only get to do this once.
Johnson: You can only do it once. If it was, like, to be somebody else in a game, I would definitely have to be, like, a tight end or something.
Wulf: Interesting.
Johnson: I just wanna catch a touchdown pass, you know what I’m saying, and spike it.
Wulf: But then why not just be a wide receiver?
Johnson: Nahh, that’s too fast. I would wanna do something I can kinda do right now, ’cause I’m an athlete.
Wulf: OK.
Johnson: So I’d be a tight end, probably.
Wulf: If you could trade, like, be somebody else on the team for a day, who would you wanna be?
Reed Blankenship: If I could be somebody else on the team for a day? Uuuhhh. That’s a tough one. I don’t know. I never thought of that. Usually it’s like a celebrity.
Wulf: Sure.
Blankenship: Not a teammate. I don’t know.
Wulf: It’s like a Freaky Friday thing.
Blankenship: A Freaky Friday thing. I would say, hmm. I would say (Darius) Slay.
Wulf: OK. Why Slay?
Blankenship: Just to see what goes on in his head, honestly.
Wulf: (Laughs)
Blankenship: If I could know what’s going on in his head, I guess that would explain a lot.
Wulf: If you could be somebody else on the team for a day, who would you wanna be?
Josh Jobe: Ooo. I would say Hurts.
Wulf: OK. Why’s that.
Jobe: ‘Cause he’s the man. Feels like he controls everything. That’s QB1.
Wulf: Now, would you wanna be him on a game day or, like, just a regular day?
Jobe: On a game day. Dress fly when you walk in, ball out. That’s QB1 for a reason.
Wulf: If you could be somebody else ont he team for a day, who would you wanna be?
Kentavius Street: (Sighs deeply) Damn. That’s a great question. Fletch (Cox).
Wulf: OK. How come?
Street: Um, outside of football and inside of football, me and Fletch are very similar. He likes cars outside of football, so I think it would be cool to get inside his world and see how he does things. Cause you know he has a drag racing team. So that’s very interesting to me.
Wulf: OK.
Street: And I think on a football side, just having all that wisdom at my disposal.
Wulf: If you could trade places for anybody else on the team for a day, who would you wanna be?
Marlon Tuipulotu: Who would I choose? On the team? Shoot, first one that comes to mind is BG.
Wulf: OK. And what would you do as BG?
Tuipulotu: Shoot, I know he do a lot on and off the field, so just experiencing that.
Wulf: If you could be somebody else on the team for a day, who would you be?
Christian Elliss: Oooohhhh. If I could be somebody else on the team for a day, who would I be?
Wulf: (Standing)
Elliss: (Thinking)
Wulf: (Standing)
Elliss: If I could be someone, I’d be ‘Ko Dean. Because I’d wanna know what it feels like to be that short.
Wulf: (Laughs)
Elliss: (Laughs) Let him know I said that, too!
Wulf: If you could be anybody else on the team for a day –
Tanner McKee: If I could be anyone on the team. Ummmmm. That’s a good question. I would be Jordan Mailata and just bench press as much as I can and just feel what it feels like to be that big and strong.
Wulf: If you could be anybody else on the team for a –
Jason Kelce: Jalen Carter.
Wulf: And what would you do?
Kelce: Just beat the fuck out of O-linemen and be young and have my whole career in front of me. (Laughs)
